Who We Are

We like to build relationships with companies and we love to get to know the individuals who work in them.  Here we’ll give you a brief idea of who we are and what we stand for, hopefully we can get together one day soon to let you know more.

ADJ is a creative bunch of people who work together to offer a full range of marketing solutions.  We offer a fully tailored service to meet your sales and marketing needs.  We try to free up your time to do what you do best, running your business.  We can help with one specific challenge you face or act as your marketing department, whatever suits your needs best.

We are a proudly multi-cultural team with experts from South East Asia and Europe.  Between us we have bags of experience working with all kinds of people from some of the largest corporations to start-ups and standalone restaurants, hotels and small businesses.  Some of the companies we work for are 30 years old and are looking for a makeover, while in other cases we’re standing side by side with entrepreneurs from the very first day.

Marketing is basically about sharing your passion and we specialise in showing people how to pull it off.  Our motivation is seeing the people we collaborate with succeeding.  Nothing compares to the feeling of seeing someone fulfil their dream.

We specialise in marketing strategy and PR advice.  We also create stunning websites, oversee social media campaigns and create compelling website content and eye-catching designs.  We do everything we need to do to ensure our clients reach their goals.

Our specialists are always on hand and available to provide advice when you get stuck, we know what works and what doesn’t when it comes to marketing and PR.

One of the things that sets us apart from many of our competitors is that we use plain language.  We try to keep things simple (we save the jargon and buzzwords for when we’re talking to each other).  Our slogan is communication is everything.  We’ve done a lot of things in the past but that sums up all that we do – clear and effective communication.

A Social Business

We’re proud to be South East Asia’s first and only truly ethical marketing agency.  Some of our profits are channelled back into good causes – charities, NGOs and other organisations and individuals who are doing good in the communities we work in.  Education and healthcare are important to us and, naturally, being creative types, we have a passion for supporting arts and culture too, but we’re open to other ideas.  We offer free or discounted services to good causes as well as financial support.

We’re committed to sharing our skills with local people, we want to promote marketing as a force for good in the region and provide good quality careers and opportunities to all of our staff.

We’re going to boast about our sustainability credentials here too.  We’re proud to be almost entirely paper free (although we do have business cards), and we use green hosting for our websites.  As our business grows, we are committed to doing our bit for the benefit of the planet.

Our Story

It all began with one man called Jon Elkins, born and raised in the countryside not far from London.  After years of working in financial services and oil and gas companies he decided to take the plunge and set up his own business (as so many of our clients have).  Jon established a small but loyal client base before a turn of events led him to the exotic lands of South East Asia.  It was here that things really took off.

A few westerners and locals got on board, as did a larger range of clients.  All our colleagues have their own specialist subject and our multicultural and flexible approach to business is working wonders for us and our clients.  It’s great for us, we truly love our work.

These days we have become somewhat nomadic, moving between the great metropolises of Indochina, mainly Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Saigon and Bangkok.  A lot can be achieved by Skype and email, but we would love to catch up for a coffee, whatever your needs, to get the best results we need to understand your business and your customers.
